CIOMAL (Campagne Internationale de l’Ordre de Malte contra la lèpre) is a Swiss-based non-for-profit Foundation and aims to fight against leprosy and its consequences worldwide. CIOMAL Foundation has been working in Cambodia with persons affected by leprosy since 1994. CIOMAL cooperates with the Cambodian Ministry of Health (MOH) and the National Leprosy Elimination Program, and the Cambodian Ministry of Social Affairs Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation (MOSVY). CIOMAL is developing and supporting several projects in Cambodia: The Kien Khleang Rehabilitation Centre for Leprosy Affected persons based in Phnom Penh; The Socio-economic rehabilitation project for Leprosy Affected persons. Awareness campaigns and prevention of disabilities; Early detection and treatment campaigns.
